Rodgers Named MVC Player of the Week for Third Straight Time

LOUIS – Rebecca Rodgers (Peotone, Ill.) of the Drake University women’s soccer team has been named the Missouri Valley Conference Women’s Soccer Player of the Week for the third consecutive week, the MVC office announced Monday afternoon. Rodgers is a redshirt senior forward, who missed nearly all of the 2016 season due to injury. Already Drake’s all-time leading goals scorer, she has 38 career goals and 88 career points.  Her goals total ranks tied for fifth all-time in the MVC.
