Since its founding in 1995, OYC has been under the direction of Cynthia Dinsmore, a well-known music educator. Annually about 130 girls and boys (with unchanged voices) participate. Singers are from public and private schools, as well as home-schooled. In addition to local performances, OYC choirs have performed in England, Hawaii, San Francisco and New York City. Over 900 singers have participated in the program over the last 17 years. Tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for students/seniors. Four youth choirs will delight attendees at the Another Op’nin, Another Show concert on Sunday, May 20.
